Author Guidelines

The Jurnal Indah Sains dan Klinis (JISK) utilizes a web-based manuscript submission and review platform. Authors are required to register on the website before submission. Manuscripts should be submitted through the online system available on the JISK website at https://ejournal.sumateraconnect.or.id/index.php/jisk/about/submissions. The manuscript must be prepared in .doc or .docx format. For assistance with formatting, authors can refer to our template user guide for instructions on using our Microsoft Word Template. Manuscript Format

JISK accepts manuscripts written in Indonesian or English. Manuscripts in Indonesian must include titles and abstracts in both languages. Make sure spelling, grammar and paragraph structure are correct. Manuscripts must comply with the following format guidelines:

1.

Page size: A4 (210 x 297 mm)

2.

Margin: Left 25 mm, Right 25 mm, Bottom 25 mm, Top 25 mm

3.

Font: Times New Roman, 11 pt (except article title)

4.

Article title: Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, centre

5.

Paragraph indentation: 7 mm from left border

6.

Chapter titles (Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion) without numbering and in bold.

7.

Figures and Tables: Figures and tables should be placed in the centre of the page

8.

Equations: Equations must be created using the Equation Editor in MS Word or Open Office, not as images

9.

References: References must be cited numerically using IEEE Style and managed using Mendeley

Manuscript Structure

The manuscript must include the following components:

1.

Title: Clear, informative, and avoid abbreviations and formulas

2.

Author Name and Affiliation: Indicate the author's name and affiliation

3.

Corresponding Author: Indicate the corresponding author

4.

Abstract: A stand-alone summary of the article, limited to 100-200 words

5.

Keywords: Maximum 5 keywords that reflect the content of the manuscript

6.

Introduction: Provides the background, purpose, and significance of the work

7.

Method: The method is written in detail to be reproducible, referring to existing methods

8.

Results and Discussion:

 

a.

Results are displayed clearly regarding the findings and their significance.

 

b.

Provide a title and short description for all Images

 

c.

Embed the graphic text at the appropriate position in the Manuscript

 

d.

Submit the table as editable text, number it sequentially and place it in the Manuscript

9.

Conclusion: Summary of research results and implications for the future

10.

Acknowledgements: Acknowledgments to individuals or institutions who contributed to the research

11.

References: Ensure accuracy and completeness, providing complete citations for all sources cited in the text. For Research Articles and Review Articles, no less than 15 and 30 recent references, respectively (Last 10 Years)
